That's why we're incredibly proud to be collaborating with Genfocus on a special fundraising event this November in support of The Tarrant Foundation, a remarkable Australian charity dedicated to helping people who need it most.
A foundation built on compassion
The Tarrant Foundation was established with a simple but powerful promise: to provide practical, life-changing support to people experiencing some of life's greatest challenges. Rather than simply offering financial assistance, the Foundation delivers tangible goods and services that make an immediate difference to individuals and families facing domestic violence, sexual abuse, homelessness and mental health challenges across Australia.
What makes The Tarrant Foundation especially unique is its commitment that 100% of every public donation goes directly to helping people in need. Thanks to private funding covering operational costs, every donated dollar can be used to purchase essentials such as emergency accommodation support, clothing, sleeping bags, household necessities, trauma care and other practical resources that restore dignity and hope.
Driven by a passion to help others
The Foundation was founded by Jenni Tarrant OAM, whose commitment to supporting vulnerable Australians spans more than a decade. Through extraordinary personal fundraising challenges, including walking 100 kilometres, climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, trekking the Kokoda Track and even spending a week living in her car to better understand homelessness, Jenni has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for people experiencing hardship.
In 2024, she established The Tarrant Foundation to create a lasting legacy of practical support for Australians in crisis, ensuring generosity is transformed into real, measurable impact.
Why this matters
Behind every statistic is a person, a mother escaping family violence, a young person experiencing homelessness, someone navigating the effects of trauma, or an individual struggling with their mental health.
The Tarrant Foundation focuses on meeting immediate needs that can often be overlooked but make an enormous difference: a safe place to sleep, warm clothing, essential household items or access to services that help people rebuild their lives.
Sometimes the smallest acts of kindness become the first steps towards lasting change.
